Beta Theta Pi Newsletter Publications
I serve as the editor and designer for this project, which aims to improve the communications between the fraternity and external parties, by creating a new newsletter that conveys important updates, as well as editorial content.
The first issue of the new newsletter was in May 2020. Within each issue, there are two main categories of articles: operations update, and editorial content. Previously, there were not much editorial content, making the newsletter uninteresting to the readers. However, with the goal of increasing public presence through transparency, the new newsletter also includes content that will hook the interest of the readers. Moreover, the newsletter has also become public, meaning that copies of the newsletter are available for non-members of the fraternity, such as parents, faculty, and more.
Since the new newsletter version was published, I was involved with finalizing the article design and layout, so that the newsletter has a consistent appearance. I was also the writer and editor for several articles, including A Fraternity Experience (August 2020), Building the Bridge (August 2020), Living with COVID-19 (October 2020), and A New Generation - A Discussion about Gen Z, Millennials, and the Fraternity Experience (December 2020).
